PROJECT DESCRIPTION

By this this project, it was aimed to build a new orphan village, namey "House of Hommoud", which is nearly as big as first orphan village. Therefore, more orphan families will come and inhabit here. A generous charitable gentleman has became supporter and initiated this project.

WHY THIS PROJECT IS REQUIRED?

As a result of ongoning war, thousands of people have died and much more have displaced from their lands. Unfortunately, most of them are children and they are the most vulnarable ones. Amongs those children, many of them are orphans. They have only their mothers, and some of them have neither of their parents. They have no secure place to continue their little life. A secure orphan village is an immense need for those orphans. 

PROJECT DETAILS & PLAN

Within the scope of this project, following buildings were constructed in the village elhamdulillah:

  • 38 Homes
  • Masjeed and wudu area
  • School
  • Supermarket
  • Clinic
  • 2 Playground
  • Security Room
  • Well and water tank
  • Wall Protection, security gate and asphalt street
  • Management building

FORMER PROJECT EXPERIENCE OF THE  IHCRO and ONE SOLID UMMAH

"One Solid Ummah(OSU)" is a very experienced organisation in Syria, especially in the context of constructing and maintaining orphan villages. OSU has built so far in total six orphan villages along with this project. Because of their on-site experience, IHCRO has been working with OSU in Syria.
